C​ONCERTS​ & D​RESS​ C​ODE

PREPARATORY STRING ORCHESTRA

Option 1 (pants):

​White shirt, black pants, black socks, and nice black shoes. No vests, no colors.

 

Option 2 (skirt/dress):

White shirt (at least elbow length sleeves) & long black skirt or slacks or black dress, black dress shoes, Skirts/dresses should be below the knee when you are seated and playing your instrument  (cellists should double check that skirts are wide enough to sit normally with your cello) Dresses that are a combination of black and white are fine.

  • No jeans, khaki pants, or leggings

  • No t-shirts or tank tops

  • No sport socks, sport shoes, or sandals

  • No bare legs

 

CAMERATA & PHILHARMONIA

Option 1 (suit/pants):

Black suit, white shirt, black bow tie, black socks, and nice black shoes; No vests, no colors. Black suit jackets are encouraged, but optional. Bow ties - we will provide bow ties for anyone who does not have their own.

 

Option 2 (skirts/dresses):

Black shirt (at least elbow length sleeves) & long black skirt or slacks (or black dress), black dress shoes. Skirts/dresses should be well below the knee when you are seated and wide enough to sit comfortably (especially for cellists).

 

  • No jeans, khaki pants, or leggings

  • No t-shirts or tank tops

  • No sport socks, sport shoes, or sandals

  • No bare legs
