IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT PAYING ON ZEFFY:
We are now using the Zeffy platform for tuition payments because it will save us a ton in fees. Zeffy does not charge us any processing fees, however as a default Zeffy automatically adds a "Zeffy donation" cover their platform (we cannot turn it off). In order to not pay this extra amount you need to change the "Donation to Zeffy" to $0 to avoid paying those fees. Just click on the amount it adds, click "other" and enter $0. Zeffy also offers an option to make a donation to Roaring Fork Youth Orchestra, we do appreciate any of those donations!

2026-27 RFYO Tuition: $725
Discounted tuition for early registration/payment by August 15th: $650
Register online and make a tuition payment of any amount (pay in full or an installment of any amount) by August 15th.
If you are applying for need-based scholarship, the scholarship application is due by August 15th, but no tuition is due at that time.
How do I apply for scholarship?
Complete the combined RFYO registration and scholarship form.
What if I find out about the RFYO and want to join during the year?
We strongly encourage students to participate for the entire year, but if you are a new student and find out about RFYO part way through the year and wish to join, you are welcome to join following any performance and tuition is adjusted accordingly. Otherwise tuition cannot be prorated based on weekly attendance.
What if I can't afford to pay anything right now, can I still register my child for RFYO?
Yes, absolutely. Fill out the need-based scholarship part of the registration form and no payment is required in order to register. All students are accepted into the RFYO regardless of their ability to pay tuition. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns at any time in the year.
Can I pay in installments?
Yes, everyone is welcome to pay in installments.
If you would like to pay in two payments, they are due by September 15th and February 1st.
If you would like to pay in four installments, they are due on the following schedule:
September 15th , December 1st, February 1st , April 1st - total tuition due
Should my child be enrolled in private lessons too?
Yes, regular private lessons are required for all string players in order to help students succeed and thrive in both their own playing and in the RFYO. Need-based partial and full scholarships for private lessons and tuition are available in order to make this possible for all students.
How can I support the RFYO program?
The RFYO offers all families the subsidized tuition rate of $752 per year. The actual tuition rate that would cover the full cost of the RFYO program is much higher. If you are able to make a contribution to the RFYO, all donations are tax-deductible. or let us know if you'd like to be a business sponsor. Thank you!

Sí, se requieren lecciones privadas regulares para todos los estudiantes para que prosperen tocando música individualmente y en la RFYO.Se encuentran disponibles becas parciales y completas basadas en la necesidad para lecciones privadas y matrícula.
¿Cómo puedo apoyar el programa RFYO?
