RFYO SIDEWALK STRINGS  

The best of JamCamp, all year round!

 

Learn bluegrass, blues, jazz, pop tunes from all eras. Explore the non-classical side of string playing. It’s a blast. Meeting on Tuesdays at the Third Street Center before and after RFYO Camerata rehearsal (reach out to Ross at ross@nuggetmedia.com for the exact schedule). Most students take part in both Sidewalk Strings and Camerata.

 

RFYO Sidewalk Strings students will develop a repertoire of tunes to play anywhere and anytime, while continuing to explore their improvisational skills and jam session abilities.

 

We also collaborate with other arts organizations and play in community settings such Mountain Fair, Día de los Muertos, and Farmer's Markets.
