The RFYO is excited to be offering a tuition-free violin program called RFYO Musica at Cactus Valley Elementary School. Ten 4th and 5th grade students at Cactus Valley Elementary school in Silt take part in weekly group and private violin lessons on Friday mornings. Alongside the Creative Roots Collective, this program also includes student-led literacy and arts education activities as part of a half day program, which also includes lunch for students. Cactus Valley Elementary is currently on a 4 day school week - this program is helping to offer opportunities for students on Fridays when no other programming is offered.
